The President of Tianjin Open University, Prof. Feng Xuefei, was awarded the honorary title ¡°The Best Education of China- Outstanding President¡± in the 2013 Annual Conference of China Educators in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing, on December 12th of 2013.

 

The 2013 Annual Conference of China Educators was held by china.org.cn and attracted more than 500 experts, presidents, teachers and entrepreneurs in the field of education.

 

The President of Tianjin Open University, Prof. Feng Xuefei, won the award of ¡°The Best Education of China- Outstanding President¡± in the higher education category together with Chen Jining, President of Tsinghua University, Gong Ke, President of Nankai University, Xie Heping, President of Sichuan, Zhang Yaoxue, President of Central South University, Zhang Rong, President of Shandong University, and Chen Dan, President of Sanya University.

 

President Feng Xuefei said, ¡°The Outstanding President awarded by china.org.cn is a reflection of social evaluation. It¡¯s a great honor for all presidents of open universities and all people working for open universities in China. I¡¯m very glad to take the award on behalf of them. I give my sincere gratitude to the organizer, all experts and all sectors of society. It¡¯s a great inspiration and encouragement for us. I hope the society could pay more attention and offer more support to the accelerated development of the open education in China as always. ¡±
